We are actively searching for fundraising and program volunteers at Cherished Mom. We focus on preventing, identifying and addressing perinatal psychosis and suicide during pregnancy If you have a few hours a week or month to spare we would love to have you join us on our mission to end maternal suicide.

  • Marketing professionals: lend your skills to make a meaningful impact for mothers. Cherished Mom seeks volunteers to support outreach, storytelling, and awareness campaigns that amplify maternal mental health. Opportunities include digital strategy, social media content creation, email marketing, brand partnerships, campaign analytics, and copywriting for fundraising and educational materials. Volunteers can contribute remotely or on a project basis, collaborate with a survivor-led team, and receive flexible scheduling, recognition, and opportunities to build portfolio work while supporting advocacy that saves lives.   • Join Cherished Mom’s volunteer grant writing team and help secure the funding that fuels maternal mental health programs, peer support groups, and educational outreach. As a volunteer grant writer, you’ll research funding opportunities, draft persuasive proposals, and collaborate with staff and survivors to translate lived experience into compelling grant narratives. This opportunity suits skilled writers, nonprofit professionals, and detail-oriented organizers who want meaningful, impact-driven work on a flexible schedule. Training and editorial support are provided; your contributions directly enable counseling services, community events, and advocacy initiatives that make a difference for mothers and families.   • Join Cherished Mom’s Volunteer Program Management team and help shape meaningful, sustainable support for mothers navigating maternal mental health challenges.

    As a volunteer program manager, you’ll coordinate volunteer recruitment, training, scheduling, and retention; develop and refine program processes; and foster a compassionate, accountable community culture. This role blends project coordination, people leadership, and data-informed program improvement—perfect for organized, empathetic leaders who want to create measurable impact. Gain hands-on experience in nonprofit operations, build leadership skills, and be part of a survivor-led movement that centers dignity, connection, and prevention. Flexible, remote-friendly roles available; training and supervision provided.

  • Join Cherished Mom as a Volunteer Event Manager and help create safe, welcoming spaces for parents to connect, learn, and heal. Volunteer Event Managers coordinate logistics, recruit and support awareness and fundraising initiatives, oversee awareness lightings and butterfly memorial events, and ensure each event runs smoothly and compassionately.

    This role is perfect for organized, calm leaders who enjoy problem-solving and working directly with community members. Training, role guides, and staff support are provided; flexible hours and remote planning options are available.
